Innerlight Engineering Corp. is seeking a CAD Technician at our office in Miramar Beach, FL. The CAD Technician will provide AutoCAD design and drafting support for various civil site development projects from conceptual phase through construction documents. Tasks will include developing small and large scale commercial, residential, public works, and parks/recreation projects. REQUIREMENTS

- Strong written, oral and visual communication skills
- Must be committed to meeting project deadlines
- Proficiency in Autocad Civil 3d
- Experience in site/civil projects
- Use our companies Shop Drawing Templates and Template Details to help create
- Ability to communicate effectively internally and externally with all levels of staff
- Assist with material takeoff for fabrication for Project Managers
- Prior experience in a civil or related engineering consulting firm is preferred
QUALIFICATIONS

- 3-5 years of experience drafting in Civil 3D required
- Associate degree in drafting/design or a related engineering or science discipline (preferred but not required).
- Ability to use basic computer applications.
- Intermediate computer skills (MS Office, file system navigation, basic understanding of automated processing software, etc.)
- US work authorization (Innerlight Engineering does not offer visa sponsorship)
RESPONSABILITIES

- Provide CAD drafting and design support for engineers, assist with planning and design of construction documents, and stormwater management reports.
- Develop complete sets of site development projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D including site geometry, utility, erosion and sediment control, grading/drainage plans and details in accordance with client and design standards
- Analyze surveys, field notes, maps, aerial photographs, and other materials to identify potential project constraints and the best approach in developing and completing projects on time and on budget
- Complete redlines and plan revisions
- Research and review deeds, ordinances, technical reports, municipal, state and federal codes to ensure compliance
- Collaborate with project managers and design staff to provide status updates, discuss challenges and address plan revisions
- Manage the maintenance and development of standard drawing templates, details and plot standards.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
